Originally from Birmingham, Kathy Murphy has served as Alpha Phi’s house mother since 2007. “Aunt Kathy” helps keep the chapter house welcoming, manages the kitchen staff and meal program, and cares for the brothers in their day-to-day lives.

Her warmth and dedication are an integral part of Alpha Phi. From making the house feel like home to supporting the men who live there, she has earned the gratitude and affection of undergraduate and alumni brothers alike.
